You’re booked — here’s what happens next
Important: To keep your appointment, please complete the forms that were emailed to you at least 24 hours before your visit. This allows your provider time to review your history and prepare for your care.
If you don’t see the email, check your spam/junk folder. The message comes from The Menopause Clinic and contains your secure portal links.
Welcome to The Menopause Clinic
Your first visit is now scheduled. This visit is a medical evaluation focused on your symptoms, goals, and whether hormone or non-hormone treatment is appropriate for you.
This page explains how your care works so you know what to expect.
What happens at your first visit
At your first visit, your provider will:
- Review your symptoms, history, and goals
- Discuss treatment options
- Discuss whether labs are needed
- Create a personalized care plan
This visit is about understanding what’s going on in your body and deciding the best next step.
How care works after your visit
Most women continue care after their first visit so we can:
- Adjust doses as your body responds
- Track symptoms and side effects
- Make changes as needed over time
- Support you without requiring a new appointment for every update
With a membership, you are always welcome to book and appointment but unlike traditional care, you may not need an appointment for every question or adjustment. Instead of needing a new appointment every time something changes, your care continues in-between visits through secure portal communication with your provider.
You can message us about:
- Symptoms
- Side effects
- Questions
- Next steps
Your provider reviews your messages and responds with medical guidance — usually within one business day.
How treatment and prescriptions work
Your first visit is for evaluation and planning.
If your provider recommends treatment, prescriptions and ongoing medication management are provided through our monthly membership. This is what allows us to prescribe and refill medications, adjust doses safely, and monitor your response over time.
After your visit:
- You’ll receive your care plan
- If treatment is recommended and you decide to move forward, you’ll be invited to start a membership so prescriptions and follow-up can begin
You do not choose a membership today. You only start one if you decide to move forward with treatment.
You can change or stop membership if care is no longer needed.
What you need to do before your visit
Please check your email and patient portal for:
- Your medical intake questionnaire
- Consent forms
- Payment link (if applicable)
These must be completed at least 24 hours before your appointment so your provider can review your case and be prepared.
Questions?
If you need help with forms, labs, or your appointment, message us through your patient portal or email us.
We’re glad you’re here — and we’re looking forward to helping you feel better, not just get through another appointment.
