Book a Visit

Specialty care, starts here.

Specialty perimenopause, menopause, and women's sexual health care โ€” online or in person. Every visit is a clear, unhurried conversation about your symptoms, goals, and next steps.

Most women come to us for sleep disruption, hot flashes, brain fog, mood changes, low libido, or vaginal dryness โ€” and leave with clarity about what's likely hormonal, what to rule out, and a clear path forward.

Louisiana location required

You must be physically located in Louisiana during every interaction with your provider โ€” video visits, phone visits, and portal messaging. This is a state licensing requirement.

Patients in Mississippi or other states are welcome to book when physically present in Louisiana. Mississippi expansion is planned within the next year โ€” see waitlist below.

Paperwork required 24 hours before your visit

Intake paperwork is emailed immediately after booking and must be completed at least 24 hours before your appointment, or your visit will need to be rescheduled.

Tip: add no-reply@optimantra.com and support@optimantra.com to your safe-sender list so the paperwork doesn't end up in spam.

How It Works

Three steps. No surprises.

Step 1

Start with a 60-minute visit

Step 2

Review options + eligibility

Step 3

If you want treatment with us, choose a membership

Important: We don't do "one-time prescriptions." Prescriptions, lab orders, and ongoing treatment are provided through an active membership after the first visit โ€” because safe hormone care requires follow-up and thoughtful adjustments.

What to Expect

Sixty minutes focused entirely on you.

Your first visit is a 60-minute conversation about your symptoms, history, and goals โ€” so you leave with clarity, realistic expectations, and a clear path forward.

What the visit includes

  • A full 60 minutes dedicated to your symptoms, history, and goals
  • Clear connections between your hormones and how you're feeling, backed by research
  • Discussion of treatment options: medications, non-medication approaches, and labs (insurance may apply)
  • Time for questions โ€” no rushing, no dismissal
  • Zero pressure โ€” you're part of every treatment decision

What you won't leave with

  • A written treatment plan โ€” treatment is delivered through membership (see below)
  • A prescription โ€” same: prescriptions are handled inside membership
  • A sales pitch โ€” you decide whether membership is right for you, not the other way around

How Care Works

Most of the care happens between visits.

The visit is where care starts. Membership is where it actually happens โ€” because perimenopause and menopause aren't one-and-done.

When something changes between visits, you don't have to wait for the next available appointment. You submit a structured assessment, your clinician reviews it against your symptom tracker, and we adjust your treatment in days, not months. No taking time off work. No traffic. No paying for a visit just to ask a question.

This isn't less medical care. It's a more responsive way to deliver it.

  • Direct messaging access to your clinician โ€” questions answered in days, not weeks
  • Structured assessments anytime submit when something shifts, we review and adjust
  • Optional symptom tracking log sleep, mood, hot flashes, libido, brain fog, or pain over time
  • Follow-up visits when you want them telehealth statewide or in-person in New Orleans, on your schedule

Payments & Insurance

We're self-pay โ€” and that's by design.

Insurance-based care typically caps visits at 10โ€“15 minutes and forces decisions around billing codes instead of clinical judgment. We skip insurance paperwork so we can focus fully on you.

  • All major credit cards accepted
  • FSA/HSA cards accepted
  • Superbill on request for out-of-network reimbursement
  • Prescriptions sent to your preferred pharmacy (most plans cover many medications, coverage varies)
  • Labs: $50โ€“$120 cash, or use insurance at any lab. We'll discuss whether labs are needed at your first visit โ€” they're not always required.

Note: Visit prices ($50 video, $100 in-person) cover the initial 60-minute evaluation only. If you decide to start treatment with us afterward, that's billed separately through monthly membership (see below).

Membership Pricing

Three tiers. Pick what fits.

Every new patient starts with the initial visit. If you decide to proceed with treatment, you choose the membership tier that fits your care needs.

  • Unlimited secure messaging with your clinician
  • Prescription management and lab review
  • Treatment adjustments via messaging โ€” no appointment needed
  • Optional follow-up visits available, but not required

After the First Visit

What women notice first.

Most women come to The Menopause Clinic after months โ€” sometimes years โ€” of being told their labs look fine. The first visit is where that pattern usually breaks. Here's what women typically take away.

  • Their symptoms finally fit a pattern Brain fog, sleep disruption, mood changes, low libido โ€” symptoms that felt scattered and unrelated start making sense as part of the same hormonal transition.
  • A clinical opinion they can actually use Not "your labs are normal, come back in a year." A real conversation about what's likely happening, what the research shows, and what treatment options exist.
  • A clear next step Whether that's enrolling in membership to start treatment, getting additional workup, or deciding this isn't the right fit โ€” you leave knowing what comes next.

Most women say the same thing afterward: "I wish I'd done this sooner." We hear it often enough that we built the whole practice around making it easier to start.

Realistic Expectations

When women typically notice improvement.

Most women notice some improvements within days to a few weeks โ€” often sleep or hot flashes first. Other symptoms (brain fog, mood, libido) typically improve over 4โ€“12+ weeks as treatment is adjusted.

Every woman responds differently, and no specific outcome can be guaranteed โ€” but you'll leave the first visit with clarity about your options and what ongoing care would involve.

Out of State?

Not in Louisiana?

Our providers are licensed in Louisiana, and every interaction requires you to be physically present in Louisiana at the time (state licensing requirement).

Mississippi patients: Mississippi expansion is planned within the next year. Join the waitlist and we'll notify you as soon as care is available.

Other states: We hope to continue expanding. In the meantime, you're welcome to book when physically present in Louisiana.
