Next Steps After Your Visit

Thank you for meeting with The Menopause Clinic. Your provider created a personalized plan based on your symptoms, goals, and medical history. This page walks you through the few steps needed to activate ongoing care.

Quick promise: You only do these steps once. After that, care is active and most communication happens through secure portal messaging.
Heads up: This setup looks longer than it is — and it’s a one-time thing. It’s what lets us give you modern menopause care: quick messaging, faster adjustments, and fewer “schedule another visit just to ask a question” moments.

These steps activate your membership and allow your provider to begin/continue treatment safely.

Create your portal login

This is required because all communication from your provider will come through secure portal messaging. (Our team may also send administrative emails.)

After you click the portal link, select “New Sign Up”, set your password, and log in.

Add your payment method

In the portal: Demographics → Card on File. Enter your card information securely.

Upload your photo ID

In the portal: Documents & Handouts → ID Card. Upload a clear photo. Medical offices are required to verify identity before providing treatment to protect your privacy.

Choose your membership tier

Review the tier comparison below and decide what fits best. You’ll enter your tier choice on the Membership Registration Form in Step 5.

1) How do you prefer to get help most of the time?
2) How often do you expect you’ll want live appointments?
3) Are you planning to start testosterone therapy?

Good to know: Add-on visits are optional — not required. Many patients do very well with messaging-based care and only add a visit when clinically helpful or when they prefer a live discussion.

What happens next

Once you’ve completed the steps above, you’re all set and on your way to starting treatment. Our administrative team will process your registration, and your provider will reach out within 24 hours (often sooner).

What Is Asynchronous Care?

Simple explanation: Asynchronous care means you can message your provider through the secure portal without needing to book a visit every time. Your provider reviews your message, updates your plan if needed, and responds with next steps — typically within 1–2 business days (Mon–Fri).
Important: Add-on visits are optional — not required. Many patients do very well with messaging-based care and only add a visit when it’s clinically helpful or when they prefer a live discussion.
Why Essential Care is built around this: Many menopause treatment adjustments happen based on how you feel over time. If you prefer messaging and want fewer scheduled visits, Essential is often a great fit. If you prefer live discussions, included visits, or more structured check-ins, Comprehensive is usually better.
When a visit is needed: If something needs a real-time discussion or an exam, you can always add a video or in-person visit. (Some therapies, like testosterone, require additional monitoring and may require a higher tier.)
