Weight & Metabolic Care · Program start

You’re approved. Here’s how we start.

If you’ve received this link, your provider has reviewed your Pre‑Treatment Questionnaire and confirmed that GLP‑1 weight care is appropriate for you. Nothing has been charged for your evaluation, and nothing will be until treatment begins. Three steps, in order.

It covers the real risks of this medication and what we ask of you during treatment. It’s written to be understood, not skimmed — read it fully.

Everything about cost lives here, so you can see the whole picture before you commit. You’ll also choose your first-visit format — video (included) or in‑person (+$50). In short:

  • The program fee is $75/month from treatment start through your efficacy checkpoint — the video visit where we review whether treatment is working, usually around month 7–8 since your dose takes 4–5 months to stabilize — then $50/month starting the next billing cycle.
  • The medication is separate, billed by the pharmacy. We prescribe only FDA‑approved GLP‑1 medications — no compounded products — and self‑pay prices typically run about $150–$600 per month depending on the medication, dose, and program. Check the actual price of yours before filling; we’ll help you find the most affordable route.
  • Labs are separate too, billed through standard lab billing when needed.
  • You can stop anytime. Let us know in writing at least 10 days before your next billing date — with less notice, the next payment still processes. Payments already made aren’t refundable, and GLP‑1 refills end when the program does, since the medication requires active monitoring.

We schedule your first visit

Once both signatures are in, we’ll reach out to schedule your initial treatment visit — where we choose your medication and starting dose and walk through exactly how to take it. If your visit is by video, plan to have your camera on the whole time. It’s a real medical visit: we need to see you to verify who you are, assess you, and teach injection technique.

Then: your two habits

These start with treatment, and they’re what determines whether the program works. Bookmark both.

Weekly Weigh‑In

Just your weight — about 15 seconds, every single week, no exceptions. People who weigh in weekly are 11x more likely to reach 5% weight loss at 6 months. The single strongest habit in the whole program.

GLP‑1 Check‑In

The fuller review — side effects, protein, strength training, anything on your mind. Every 4 weeks while we find your dose, quarterly after your checkpoint.

The shape of the first year

The most common reason people give up is judging this at the wrong moment, so know the arc going in. We start your dose low and step it up gradually — the first weeks are about your body adjusting, not weight loss. Reaching your stable dose typically takes 4–5 months. After about three months at that dose — usually around month 7–8 overall — we meet for your efficacy checkpoint: an honest look together at whether this is earning its place. That visit is also when your monthly fee drops from $75 to $50.

Two things to hold onto the whole way through

This program doesn’t replace primary care. We manage your GLP‑1 — we don’t diagnose or manage blood pressure, blood sugar, or other conditions unrelated to it, and we don’t adjust those medications. Keep your PCP or prescribing doctor updated as your weight changes so they can adjust on their end.

Weigh‑ins and check‑ins are reviewed regularly, but not in real time. Severe or persistent abdominal pain, vision changes, or any sign of a medical emergency means the nearest emergency room or 911 first — then message us so we can follow up.

Questions before you sign — about the treatment or the cost? Message us in the patient portal. There’s no charge to ask, and the contact is the treatment.
