Finding care

The Toolkit gets you ready. Chapter 19 gets you in the right room.

If you're in Louisiana

The Menopause Clinic is a specialty practice that does one thing: perimenopause and menopause care, by clinicians who were trained in it. We see patients across Louisiana by telehealth and in person in New Orleans, by appointment.

It should feel like medicine, not shopping. How it works and what it costs are on the site, in plain numbers.

How The Menopause Clinic works

If you're somewhere else

Licensing means we can't be your clinicians yet. These are the places we'd look ourselves:

  • The Menopause Society's practitioner directory: search by ZIP code for clinicians with the MSCP credential.
  • Dedicated menopause and midlife-women's-health practices, including telehealth. Vet them like a clinic: licensed in your state, a real history taken, follow-up offered, pharmacy-dispensed medication, willing to tell you no.
  • Word of mouth. The woman who found someone good is usually glad to share the name.

Told us your state on the form? You'll hear from us if that changes.

The book

Don't have the Handbook yet?

The Hot Mess Handbook: The Perimenopause Guide You Should Have Had Years Ago is the full explanation behind every page of the Toolkit: what is happening to you, why nobody told you, what actually helps, and how to find someone who knows this. Paperback and Kindle.

The Toolkit and the book are for education and general information. They are not medical advice and don't replace care from a clinician who knows your history. Copy the worksheets freely for your own appointments.
